So January is now upon us! I can’t believe how the time has flown. I hope you all celebrated the New Year in style!
I thought I would jot down a few realistic resolutions that I want to achieve this year.
1. Blog more
I want to increase the amount i’m blogging, obviously with a full time job sometimes this can be difficult… but I want it to be a main focus of mine to produce exciting, interesting content that you really want to see. I also want to get more on my YouTube channel. I love recommendations, so please let me know what you want to see from me in the New Year!
2. Increase exercise
This is always a popular one come the New Year! I attend a Pilates class once a week, but really I would like to be doing more than that. Maybe adding in a second class, or getting back into another team sport – I played netball for a little while and that was really fun. I also want to do more horse riding, getting back in the saddle is something I am always craving!
3. Drink more water
This is something I have been trying to do for a while, but sometimes I just simply forget! It is so important to drink lots every day to stay hydrated and therefore healthy. I also want to make it a habit to drink hot lemon and water first thing in the morning before breakfast – this helps kickstart the digestive system and clear out any toxins.
4. Do more for charity
There are a few wonderful charities that hold a special place in my heart such as the Alzheimers Society, Bone Cancer Research Trust and the MND Association. There are also many more that do amazing work that I would love to support. Large or small, any amount can make a difference. In 2016 I want to get more involved to see how I can help.
5. Bake, bake and bake some more
As you may already know if you read my blog posts, I love to bake. In 2016 I want to push myself to try new and exciting recipes that push me out of my comfort zone. Santa put a couple of new baking tools in my stocking this year, which I always love! Hopefully helping me create some delicious gluten free recipes that I can share with you!
