I wanted to put together a post with a couple of the looks I wore whilst I was in Italy. I found that fashion over there generally consisted of casual, relaxed and pretty vibes. So rather than mega high heels and night out attire, daywear doubled as evening wear.. meaning packing was easy!!!
I went for casual, summery looks, including a couple of off the shoulder numbers. I am loving off the shoulder / cold shoulder looks right now, I am seeing them everywhere and just think they are so flattering and feminine. I will link a few similar options, as well as everything I wore below!
One day we headed out riding bikes, so a dress was not practical! I picked up these shorts from Miss Selfridge and I love them, the lace trim helped to avoid them looking too much like super tight hot pants! Sometimes not appropriate ha. See HERE (similar HERE). I also thought the shorts went really well with these loafers by Dune (ordered via ASOS) HERE. The top I wore was Zara, but it is no longer available. 🙁
Stripe off the shoulder top HERE (& very similar HERE)… I did a look last year with this top, see full post HERE. In Italy, I paired it with a black bodycon skirt and flat white shoes (Dune again, HERE).
I posted on this 2 in 1 dress shortly after I got back. I just love this colour combination… perfect for a summer holiday night out (see full post with outfit details HERE).
Denim off the shoulder dress, see HERE. The material of this dress was super lightweight and airy, great for hot days on holiday! Such an easy thing to throw in your suitcase, and can be worn day & night! Only thing I would say, is it does crease easily… so make sure you have an iron! Ha. See HERE (similar HERE & HERE).
I loved wearing these pieces during my trip to Italy, hopefully I can inspire you to grab something new to add to your wardrobe if you are off anywhere for your holidays! I am heading to Barcelona / France next week, so I might pick up another couple of items before I go! 😉 Any excuse! I will be sure to blog about them if I do.
You can take a look at my full Italy vlog, HERE… give it a watch if you haven’t already! 🙂
