I hope you are keeping warm wherever you are, the weather is gradually getting colder here… we had our first snow last weekend! I can’t believe we are coming to the end of November, this year is just flying by.

With December on the doorstep, I picked up a few bits to make sure I am ready for the count down to Christmas:

Yankee Candle Advent Calendar

What better way to say December is coming, than with an advent calendar! Not only is this a healthier alternative to chocolate, but it has a different scented tealight for each day, how sweet is that!? I unwrapped the packaging and it already smells incredible. This would make a perfect gift or advent for any candle lovers out there. For what you get this is a very reasonable price, and you can pick it up right from Amazon, here.

Fluffy Polar Bear Socks

I cant get through November without buying a new pair of fluffy socks!! I live in socks and slippers this time of year. I saw these polar bear ones online and just had to get them. They came in the sweetest little igloo packaging, and would make the perfect small gift / stocking filler for Christmas day… but I plan to wear mine through out the whole of December! You can buy them on ASOS here.

Festive DVD’s

So I have a lot of films that I love to watch this time of year, but there are two that stand out when I think about December or Christmas. Elf was an absolute must, its hilarious and it doesn’t matter how many times I watch it, it will always make me feel festive. Love Actually was another high up on my list, it oozes Christmas and is the perfect feel good film for a cosy afternoon by the fire. If you haven’t seen these you MUST, pop them onto your watch list for 2015. You can buy the Elf DVD here and Love Actually DVD here

Chocolate Canapés

I saw these in Aldi and thought they were a great idea. Aldi have a lovely Christmas range in at the moment, so I would go check it out before stocks run out! But chocolate canapés! Who won’t love that on Christmas day!? They are well presented and perfect for handing out immediately after dinner, when you are just too full to handle any Christmas pudding yet. They are also naturally gluten free, so perfect for us coeliacs. I can’t wait to crack these out with the family! See here, buy in store at your local Aldi.

Victoria’s Secret Dreamer Flannel Pyjamas Matching Set

Okay this one was probably my biggest splurge, but I had grown out of all my other matching PJ sets, so after I saw these in the shop I just became obsessed. The material and quality of Victoria’s Secret is always amazing, so I knew these would guarantee me a good nights sleep. They are the perfect thickness and are soooo comfortable! They come in so many different colours / patterns, but I just loved the grey check. They also come with a little matching eye mask! So cute. See the whole range, here  (I picked mine up in store).

What are your December / Christmas favourites this year?
