I live for summer holidays. All year, I am dreaming about having the sun on my skin, sipping cocktails and spending some quality time with my favourite people.
This year, Dave & I headed to Barcelona for the first time, it was so beautiful! It has everything from the beach, the nightlife, to the magnificent architecture and the outstanding food, what’s not to love? We found a few great gluten free spots too which I did a full post on for my coeliac friends, HERE.
After a long weekend, we then carried onto Sarlat-la-Canéda (located in the Dordogne region of France), to visit my family who were staying at a villa there. We got the train from Barcelona to Perpignan (France), and hired a car from there to complete the rest of the journey. We spent a week there before flying home from Bergerac. The whole trip worked out really well and we managed to do a bit of everything from sightseeing in the city to relaxing in the countryside, all while stopping off in two different countries with two very different cultures!
I vlogged the holiday so you could follow us around and see exactly what we got up to – I hope you enjoy and please subscribe to my YouTube channel if you haven’t already!!
